The Story of the African Diaspora, Told Through Its Fashions    

The museum at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology has just launched an exhibit called Africa’s Fashion Diaspora, which posits that commonalities in the black experience can be drawn from the fashion created by members of the African diaspora.
