Yinka Bernie has built a creative world where music, art, and community intersect, and his indie venture, Egwu Records, sits at the center of it all. What began as a small network of vinyl collectors has evolved into a full-fledged enterprise that presses records, hosts events, and champions Nigeria’s growing vinyl culture. Egwu Records’ first vinyl festival and Bernie’s recent sound exhibition, Moving Parts, highlight his drive to treat sound as a living art form. As he gathers stories from Lagos bridges and crafts immersive experiences, Bernie continues to push the boundaries of how people connect with music. His vision now extends into hardware, where he hopes to shape new ways of listening.
