CAF is taking the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 trophy on a diaspora tour in Europe, celebrating African football and its global community. The tour began in London on November 28 and will conclude in Paris on December 4, highlighting the trophy as a symbol that African football belongs to all Africans, wherever they are. The London event featured musical performances from Nigerian artist ODUMODUBLVCK and his Ghanaian counterpart Stonebwoy, engaging roundtable discussions with top figures in football and culture, and a ceremonial trophy reveal. This initiative strengthens the bond between the continent and its diaspora ahead of the 35th AFCON, set to kick off on December 21, where 24 nations will vie to succeed Côte d’Ivoire as Africa’s champions.
